Analysis of occupational skin cancer screenings in Germany – Results of 18,725 employees

Background: Skin diseases and allergic reactions to working materials are among the most frequently reported occupational diseases. 33% of all reported occupational diseases are skinrelated. Research questions of the presented analysis were:
  • What are the most common dermatological diseases among employees in Germany?
  • What are risk and protection factors?
  • How prevalent are hand eczemas, contact allergies and skin cancer in distinct professions?
